Hi I'm currently an undergraduate at USCs Marshall School of Business and I'd like to transfer to Georgetown's undergraduate business program. Do I have a shot with my stats?

I'm a rising sophmore and will have a 3.7 plus GPA when I apply next spring.

I have a 3.8 high school GPA

I took the international baccalaureate and scored 43.

I have many extra curriculars from both HS and college

I had a 2100 SAT, then 790, 780, 720 for my SAT IIs

BTW I am also international (european)

So what do u guys think. I also have a good reason for the transfer, ie beyound name and image of the school

definitely have a shot (a very good shot id reckon, tho i dont know much about gtowns transfer policies)

if your goal is for whatever reason to get out of USC, id be sure to apply to a bunch of schools (maybe even some a bit more competitive than Gtown....hell, drop an app at wharton maybe)...dont put all your eggs in one basket, unless of course gtown is the one school youd leave USC for, for whatever reason

Key to your admission is your college GPA and statement about why you want to transfer. The rest should fall out like a blossoming rose.

No. I am saying exactly what it says: the GPA is key. i.e., keep up the good work!
