Interesting fact about U Chicago, it actually teaches the Akkadian langauge, along with other Near Eastern Languages (Egyptian, Hittite, etc). Very few universities do this, including Upenn, Harvard, Yale, U Mich, and Johns Hopkins. Few colleges really teach early civilizations really well, but these apparently do |

No competition. U Chicago is conservative in a liberal academic way. An enormous proportion of BYU students/faculty are hard core conservatives in almost every way, social, religious, economic, whatever.
