become proficient in niche programming language cr?

Tempted to do this with Julia or something but the effort is probably better used getting better at R or python |

In OOP it is just a matter of syntax, and with procedural langs and other odd ducks you just fill in the gaps when you can. I came into using programming languages as a tool for other work so the concepts of CS aren't really firmly established for me. I keep meaning to take a mooc on intro to CS and algorithms but who has the time man I don't even know what a procedural vs OOP language looks like, I guess I can only conceive of OOP languages since that's all I've used |
