Two examples: My are country cousin is a "shift leader" at a Chili's type restaurant. His gf is an assistant manager there. The gf moved to the are country city about a year ago for no discernable reason. She had been living in, say, Omaha, then decided to move to, say, Indianapolis without any real reason to pick Indianapolis, as far as I can tell.
I had a colleague who would apply to jobs nationwide, without regard to location. When he was ready for a new job, he would apply wherever, get an offer he liked, then slide and let do into a new city. He lived in NY, DC, FL, and TX within the space of about 7 years. |
