- Google Voice w/ an account no way associated to you. Install the GVoice ap and do all texting there. Bury it in a far screen / folder of aps so it's not easy to find. Disable all notifications in settings.
- If you have an iPhone, absolutely NEVER text to that number. It'll appear everywhere you're logged in. So, if your spouse picks up the iPad or uses your Mac, they'll be there.
- Goes w/o saying, configure your browser to clear history upon exit. Ideally, have different login accounts on your personal computer, log in / out of it, and set your screen saver to start after being idle for 5 or 10 min and require a password.
- As soon as you can, move conversation out of text and to Telegram, setup a secret chat and configure the settings to retain messages no longer than 1hr.
- Don't send or receive pictures. Again, on an iPhone that shit can easily get into your photo stream which a lot of people have 'shared' with others.
- Disable the find my phone feature and any 'share my location' settings you may have setup with your spouse.

CA requires 6000 hours, essentially 3 years, working under a PI. JD counts for 2000 hours. Had a coworker who was licensed supervise me for 24 mo. while I paid him like $100/mo. At the end, he signed off on the 4000 hours I needed. |

Had a lady call me up who had a respectable, mid/senior position at a major tech company. However, her story was totally unhinged, told me about some Japanese guys stalking her, going into her home when she wasn't there, etc. I said fuck it, I'll take this one. I did a walk through assessment of where she was living, installed a Simplisafe alarm there, and got paid in cash; like $500 for an hours work. A week later, she calls me up again and says "they were in her apartment"....so, I agree to meet, look over her place, and have her log in and show me the armed/disarmed logs.
No one was fucking there, except one of her schizophrenic personalities trolling her. I told her straight up I believe that she believes what's happening is real, but that she needs to go get a medical assessment. To my surprise, she wasn't hostile to this idea, thanked me, and that was it.
Aside from that, before GPS was so commonly available, I used to rent out GPS devices to people to know where their cheatmo spouses went. If they were on the title of the car, I'd install it. If they weren't, I'd just rent it out and have them sign a disclaimer. |
