Age: 40 in a few weeks wtf.
Height: 6' 1".
Weight: Haven't weighed myself in over two years. I'm going to weigh myself first thing tomorrow morning before I eat or drink anything. Definitely north of 220 lbs. How far north? I'll find out tomorrow morning.

I've been overweight for two years, and I've failed to get to a healthy weight and stay at that weight during the entire time. My diet is pretty boring and healthy, but my appetite seems to be all fucked up from stress. I was in great shape until my mid 30s when my gut started growing slowly. At this point I'm frustrated with my inability to lose weight and keep it off, and I'm just too worried about my health now after being fat for years, so I'm starting Wegovy. I took the first pill this morning.
It takes a few months to ramp up to the maintenance dose, so I'm not sure how much it'll help in the beginning. In the meantime, I'm going to add in strength training to my exercise routine, which has just been at least an hour of cardio every single day. I'm going to reduce calories slowly. I used to have a binge eating problem, and my doctor told me to be very careful not to cut out too many calories too quickly because the binge eating could resurface.

how do you get that fat doing an hour of cardio daily and eating "healthy"? you must be eating a ton of "off the record" shitty snacks or not eating nearly as well as you think.

Yeah, at least the good blood work is somewhat reassuring. Lots of chicken breast, avocados, bananas, Greek yogurt, olive oil, bunch of green shit, different types of beans, etc. make up probably around 80% of what I eat. It's that 20% of trash that keeps me fat.
