The one who does track is 6’1 and the one who does wrestling is 5’9.

I was talking to the 5’9 one at the 6’1’s wrestling one’s graduation party. I was like oh shit man you must be killing it at the mixers with women etc.

He looked at me bizarrely. He said “I’m 5’9 no woman even talks to me unless it’s to openly mock me about my height.” He said when the freshman FOIDs moved in they basically lived my flame about running in and screaming about TALL MEN. Not flame. He said every chick on his Instagram openly posts about only dating tall men.

He said there’s a guy who plays baseball who is 6’4 and is basically dating 7 different chicks all who know about each other and just wanna be seen with tall men.

He just goes to the gym all day to be a good wrestler and said he is completely out of the dating market. Never approached a woman in his life bc he’s branded.

Then I turned to my 6’1 nephew and I’m like ok what about you? How’s Melissa who you have been dating for 3 years? He said they broke up bc some 6’4 guy at her college DM’d her and she said it’s not gonna work long distance (which she’s right) but SPECIFICALLY mentioned the Tall men in her school. Like specifically said there are really tall guys here.

The internet has truly DESTROYED and I mean DESTROYED men’s chance to date and find happiness purely due to height. I know I contributed to this over the years within the XO community at least but when I did it I was always trying to be silly about something that had some truth to it.

After all this can’t be THAT true right? I’m 5’9 and happily married with 5 kids. Even the guy in the TRUE Dutchess story where she was hooking up with a guy when I met her, we were both the exact same height. Even before that when I played baseball in college chicks didn’t ridicule me and I lived a pretty good life growing up.

But that was 2008 and this is 2026 and this has been completely DRILLED into guys brains to this point that they have just left the dating market. It’s just ACCEPTED amongst women to the point that they will openly mock a man for his height unsolicited. Like they will walk up to a guy on campus and just start berating him for his height.

Even in the comments on Instagram it’s pure cope. Guys will say “well I do well with women and I’m 5’10”-no you don’t

Even my 5’9 nephew will sometimes make comments like a clown saying “yeah I’m only 5’9 haha” good job bringing attention to it.

Short men have now been forced to think the only way they’ll be socially accepted is to be a clown about it and make fun of themselves as the only way for anyone to even acknowledge their existence.

This all makes me happy in a way bc it shows the theories on XO are not only true but they’re a decade from being SHOVED DOWN YOUR THROAT MAINSTREAM. We can make money off our ideas.

Also if you’re insecure about something like if someone opens this thread, Instagram will read your algorithm and just DRILL videos down your throat to make you feel worse about it.

Any fucking guy who says being short is “nbd” or “im 5’6 and still get girls!” Is complete cope. Looks are a thing for men 100000% just like they are when a man is looking at a woman. You can’t BLAME women for having preferences. Now I don’t agree with women shitting on short men unsolicited who are just minding their own business (which is happening now) but 99.9999% of men who are 5’9 have no business dating. Here’s why:

If you’re 5’9 you’re 10000% behind the 8 ball in dating. That’s the reality. You’re basically done before walking through the door for most women today.

So why are you fuckin fat? Why are you bald? If you’re 5’9 you have NO ROOM for any error so why are you not perfecting everything else? Here is your ONLY chance at that height:

1. Face max. You have to be handsome as fuck.

2. Lifting. Not to get JACKED like a bodybuilder and not bc of reasons you think. When a guy is super jacked and short it’s drawing attention to the fact he’s short. “He’s jacked but short!” You wanna look like if they threw you in a baseball lineup you can still handle yourself. Strong athletic.

3. Hair. You want to have hair but do NOT spend too much time on your hair. Bc it’ll draw attention to the fact your short hair “he has nice hair but he’s short.” Make it nice enough you look like you don’t give a fuck.

4. Beard grooming. Same as above. Scruffy is good. But not barber shop groomed.

5. Dressing well. Same thing. If you’re dressed too nice “he’s dressed well but short.”

If you’re 5’9 you have NO ROOM to fuck up on any of these. Your only hope if for your bottom line number to be ATTRACTIVE but she can’t put a finger on why. You want her to forget you’re 5’9 after talking to you for two minutes.

Other than that, you’re completely DESTROYED for any female who would even *maybe* tolerate your height which most women won’t.

Now I’m not saying it’s a possibility, I’m just saying that’s your ONLY hope. 99.99% of 5’9 guys can’t do this.
