mine is pretty boring but it freaked me the fuck out. about ten years ago after work i got off the bus at my stop and started walking home, nose buried in my phone. i was on autopilot and not paying attention to my surroundings. it was already pretty dark out.
my apartment was southeast of the bus stop. i walked the correct number of blocks east and then turned right and walked a couple blocks south. then i looked up from my phone and realized i didn't recognize where i was. i checked Google Maps and saw that i was several blocks northwest of where i got off the bus... and the kicker is, i was walking south.
if i had been walking north instead of south, i would've believed maybe i was so oblivious that i just got off the bus and started walking the completely wrong direction. but no, i was facing south. it still makes no fucking sense.

Have narrowly avoided death several times by pure inexplicable statistically unlikely luck
It makes me think I'm "supposed to" do something substantial with my life but I really try to avoid thinking that way because it seems self indulgent. But it's very weird and always sits in the back of my mind
