Yeah there are states where you can legally get it through flamey "medical programs" that are are obviously not real allopathic "medicine" and meant more to slowly normalize and legalize. Like in Colorado they have state-licensed "natural medicine" "healing centers" where you can get it. Other states like California, Oregon, and New Mexico have similar programs, although I forget the exact details. There are also a lot of grey market sites that sell them now too. I think it's a mix of scams, people selling amanitas with legal research chem psilocybin-adjacent chems injected in, and other shit like that.
Edit: I guess california doesn't have a program like some of the others, but it is heavily decriminalized
