Date: September 3rd, 2026 10:10 AM Author: snake coke we were having a fairly large meeting about a big matter the new partner brought over with him. one of the associates said something about having worked on something very similar a couple of years ago, and that we could probably leverage that work product to cut billables by a ton. the partner reached up and pressed a button on the conference table and a hole opened up in the floor under the associate, dropping him and his herman miller chair into what could only realistically be described as a pit of flames. the partner has only been here like a month so i doubt he had time to have had all that installed. i’ve noticed that button on the table before but always assumed it ringed the admin staff or something.
