This is why libs are gonna get fucked hard on this.
Dems’ theory of the case is too complex to win over anyone but the “Orange Man bad” crowd.
Even better, to articulate their theory of the case, they will have to get into details of the Bidens’ dealings in Ukraine— which Trump also very easily can do on Twitter day in and day out.
This will all turn out like it did for the GOP and Clinton in the 1990s— Dems will impeach to hobble Trump, but it will have the effect of galvanizing the other side. Ultimately Trump will be acquitted (even accounting for cucks like Romney), and Dems will have gained nothing.
Impeachment = Dems throwing away 2020. But they get to carry on with disruptive bullshit into his second term.

This seems pretty simple:
"Bloomberg News reported in May that prosecutors in Ukraine had already shelved the investigation into Burisma’s owner by 2015. That suggests Biden and his son didn’t stand to benefit from the prosecutor’s ouster. In addition, Vitaliy Kasko, a former deputy prosecutor who had once pursued the case against Burisma’s owner, told Bloomberg in May that there had been no U.S. pressure to close the case."
And so does "Trump had OMB overrule State and Defense to squeeze the new Ukrainian POTUS to investigate Biden."
The whole scandal is like four sentences. The only reason the pussybitch Dems have the stones to try impeachment is that this is far simpler than Mueller/Russia/etc.

You should give me credit for being able to identify you through word choice and tone. I’ll give you credit for tacitly admitting it rather than lying.
I don’t know what you said in summer 2017, but you must have made at least 50 threads that implied Trump was a mobster and his indictment (not impeachment) was a foregone conclusion. I remember telling you I’d give you credit if you turned out to be right, because many were attacking you but you were so convinced, but when you were wrong, you just left.
And Trump is a retard, but that’s beside the point.

Present sense impression of the Obama administration in 2014 "not a great look and would prefer you don't take that job."
Hunter Biden in 2014: "no I think I'll gladly sell the perception of access to my dad for 600k a year."
Every newspaper in 2014: Biden is Obama's man on Ukraine but his son has this job, Obama ethics people say it's not a good look.
Trumpmos in 2019: IT'S ALL A BIG CONSPIRACY ALSO WE DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE TO MAKE SENSE OR BELIEVE THE BULLSHIT WE SPEW! TRUMP JUST NEEDS TO MAKE POORLY EDUCATED WHITE BOOMERS THINK SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED AND THEREFORE DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE TRIED TO USE TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO DRUM UP AN INVESTIGATION INTO HIS LIKELY 2020 OPPONENT! NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
I have to say I admire your stamina. It's like admiring the stamina of the sheep bleating "four legs good" in Animal Farm, but I have to admit that this train is never late.

Question for you libs: Given that Joe Biden explicitly admitted that as VP he pressured Ukraine to fire a Ukrainian government employee who was investigating his son's private company in Ukraine,
Why shouldn't our duly elected President be allowed to look into this?

Here you go, faggot: https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/trump-ordered-hold-on-military-aid-days-before-calling-ukrainian-president-officials-say/2019/09/23/df93a6ca-de38-11e9-8dc8-498eabc129a0_story.html
"President Trump told his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to hold back almost $400 million in military aid for Ukraine at least a week before a phone call in which Trump is said to have pressured the Ukrainian president to investigate the son of former vice president Joe Biden, according to three senior administration officials. Officials at the Office of Management and Budget relayed Trump’s order to the State Department and the Pentagon during an interagency meeting in mid-July, according to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. They explained that the president had “concerns” and wanted to analyze whether the money needed to be spent. Administration officials were instructed to tell lawmakers that the delays were part of an “interagency process” but to give them no additional information — a pattern that continued for nearly two months, until the White House released the funds on the night of Sept. 11."
P.S. what changed their minds on September 11? Schiff sent his letter to the DNI that started this whole thing on September 10th.

He can and he is. Rudy is on the case! He's been in Ukraine for like six months. What Trump can't do is use OMB to overrule State and Defense and hold up funds already allocated by Congress in order to target a political opponent, and then have his acting DNI break the law by failing to report a whistleblower complaint about the same issue that the OIG deemed highly credible and urgent.

Trumpmo version: Hunter B. had a no-show job on the board of a gas company so that the company could get access to his VP dad and use the administration to pursue the company's interests, including in particular, pressuring a prosecutor out of his job so that he couldn't investigate all the shady shit the company was doing.
The real version isn't that much better, which is that Hunter B.'s friend got him a gig working for the company as both a board member and lawyer so that they could modernize their corporate governance practices to be more attractive to foreign capital. He was paid ~$50k a month for this work, which translates into fewer than 100 billable hours. And while it may not have been illegal or improper, it certainly looks bad when your dad happens to be the VP and happens to want to fire the prosecutor for other reasons.
Libs can't really defend it because it at minimum creates the appearance of a conflict of interest. But conturds are probably overplaying the conflict.
