Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen sharply criticized the idea that the U.S. could take over Greenland in the wake of the Venezuela incursion. “I have to say this very directly to the United States: It makes absolutely no sense to talk about it being necessary for the US to take over Greenland,” Frederiksen said in a statement Sunday. “The United States has no right to annex one of the three countries in the Commonwealth.” |
