Airborne crossing are allowed, but you better hope they don't need to emergency land in a state or country you're excluded from.
$5M is a lot to buy and maintain 3 nice homes in the NY tri-state area. It's plenty for, e.g., one nice home in the NY tri-state area and a pied-a-terre in the city, with you moving around a bit in between. In fact, I already have the nice suburban home, so I really only need one or two more places. |

For that reason, NY-NJ-CT is a tough place to set up your base insofar as you can't easily get between NJ and CT without crossing NY. |
