You can pack up whatever you have around IRL that you want to bring with you, so long as it all fits in a backpack or suitcase.

You'll be given a 90-day visa, so, officially, there will be no immigration-type issues with you being there. But, the state won't offer you any special protections or privileges.

You'll be transported to a random, public spot in Tehran--i.e., on the street, in a park, in a cafe.

If you stay within Tehran city limits for the next 90 days, you will get $3M.

Do you accept? How are you spending your time?

Think about the friends you could make along the way. That's worth more than the money. Did you see the video in the other thread with the guy asking people to go to the cafe with him? Do you think they'd go with you?

Yeah I think so. I get along with everyone IRL and I've spent years living in the Middle East. This would be a cakewalk.

I'd love to visit Iran under normal circumstances, but there are extenuating circumstances unfolding at the moment. Are you sure you're in?

Yes, the hardest part would be leaving my family behind but I think I could survive. There 10m+ people in Tehran, the likeliest scenario is only a small fraction will be hurt or det. I'd quickly figure out the areas that are least likely to be bombed--perhaps the diplomatic enclave--and get an apartment there. It would be chill as fuck man. I wish this was a real offer.

seriously though, yes, in a heart beat, I would use my second passport from a small rich inoffensive country and I'm quite confident I could rely on the comfort of strangers for that amount of time (plus I would bring a bunch of cash and credit cards)

No concerns about bombing, fresh water supply...?

good question, I have no idea about the credit cards

10 grand in cash is about $110 a day which I suppose goes a very long way in Tehran

I am reasonably confident that the USAF is indeed only targeting military and strategic targets and generally leaving civilian targets alone - if a lot of civilians were getting got, we would be hearing about it at 1000 decibels 24/7, but we aren't

I'm also reasonably confident that the ordinary Iranian is as hospitable and kind as cliche has it and I would get enough to eat and drink and some place to bunk down, especially if backed by some cash green

the risk is non-zero, but the risk-reward checks out in favor of taking this deal

edit maybe I'll take 10 grand Euros instead of $

How fast can you get 10k Euro? We need you on the ground in Tehran before 8 pm ET tonight. You can go to an ATM in the US and get a few hundred dollars.

CR about Iranian hospitality, my friend.
