even people with standing desks often have a 'backup' normal desk which is actually used most of the time. i blame mental dissonance in part. it just seems weird and LARPy to do desk-work in a standing position. if you're a faggy paperwork drone, you can't escape that stain by refraining from the use of a seat. and you know it.

that's a common claim, but so few people use standing desks that it seems impossible to properly test. furthermore, has it ever been the case that a centenarian or something credited 'my standing desk' as a longevity factor, whether true or not? standing desks don't even seem to enter into the world of anecdotes.
