I finally talked to someone who gives a damn and it looks like they're going to fix this. I told them that 2 months was a ridiculous estimate after I was quoted 3-4 days by phone the night before, that I'm Not Happy, and that this is awful customer service--especially for a manufacturing defect. I told them that to make this right, they should just replace the entire unit given that it's under a year old and has been used fewer than 20 times.
