April 11, 1983 – February 1, 2025

Benjamin *******, 41, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, in his hometown of Lincoln.

Born on April 11, 1983, Benjamin was the beloved son of the late Gwendolyn and Heath ********. A lifelong resident of Lincoln, he was known for his kind heart, resilient spirit, and unwavering love for those around him.

As a young man, Benjamin had a passion for sports. He excelled as a third baseman on the Lincoln Northeast High School junior varsity baseball team, where his determination and love of the game left a lasting impression on his teammates and coaches. Following a tragic accident that left him wheelchair-bound for the remainder of his life, Benjamin met life’s challenges with remarkable courage and perseverance. Though his path changed, his enthusiasm for sports never faded, and he remained an avid fan who enjoyed following his favorite teams and sharing that passion with family and friends.

Benjamin’s strength, kindness, and warm personality touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his resilience in the face of adversity inspired many. He will be remembered not only for the hardships he overcame, but for the compassion, humor, and generosity he showed throughout his life.

Benjamin is survived by his beloved grandmother, Judith, who cherished him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gwendolyn and Heath.

Benjamin’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was truly beloved by all and will be deeply missed.

May he rest in eternal peace.
