It's not my main area, but sometimes I get called in to help out with summary judgment briefs and stuff in federal court because of my clerkships.

Today I was working on a Title VII case, and I asked ChatGPT to find factually analagous cases from my circuit and it came up with like five that were very much real and on point.

I'd have been lucky to find two of those cases just using Westlaw searches because it wasn't really something you can find with keywords. Apparently ChatGPT read every single Title VII case from my circuit (or already "knew" them) and found the most analogous ones.

It's getting to the point where you're committing malpractice in certain areas of the law if you don't at least let AI try to assist you.
