that's fine dude. nyc is for single itinerants and for the ultra rich. if you have a family the benefits of being in the city quickly diminish and the conveniences can turn into inconveniences. and you'd be paying a fuckton for the kind of space you need unless you opted for brooklyn or something, but even then...
i'm not opposed to paying more to live in nyc but would you really get that much out of it with five kids, as long as you live within commuting distance. do you really need to take your family to daniel or something every night?
