People were voluntarily installing them during Trump's first term.
Yet most people were deterred because of - (i) issues when you sell your house, (ii) insurance issues, and (iii) roof issues.
If climate change really was the #1 priority of the Democrats, it shows inept they are that they never really addressed this. It wouldn't be that hard for instance, to pass a law saying premiums couldn't increase based on solar panels - or some other sensible regulation.
Or announce some program that the government will refinance any solar loan at 0% interest upon a bona fide sale.
My point being not that I have the answers, just that it's telling that tehy didn't even try.
It's another thing to add to the fact that they built 7 EV chargers in 4 years after passing a trillion dollar bill. |
