Thinking about a 13" ipad. Air or Pro?

Date: October 17th, 2025 2:36 PM Author: michael doodikoff There is a returned 13" 256gb M4 Ipad Pro at my local best buy that costs $1000 ($250 discount from new for this model). Microcenter has the 13" 256gb Ipad Air M3 for $809 right now.
I went to best buy at lunch and compared the sound and screens on both models side by side. 4k youtube of the exact same video was a tad better looking on the Pro, the sound was clearly better on the Pro but not hundreds of dollars difference.
I don't know how 60hz vs 120hz even looks on these devices - they say the "scrolling is smoother on 120hz" but honestly they looked the fucking same to me.
Is a Pro worth the $200 more IYO???
Also, are these things actually decent at note taking with those pencil things? Can they convert handwritten notes to text well? |
