India’s longest-running train, the Vivek Express, connects Dibrugarh in Assam to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and takes nearly four days to complete its journey. Because the train runs daily, multiple rakes of the same train, each departing on a different day, are spread across the country simultaneously. The same applies to the train running in the reverse direction.
