Date: June 18th, 2026 4:33 PM Author: luke the drifter (definite and ineradicable gauge of its upward moving) Quickest way to do this is to divide the first year salary by the social security taxable wage base for that year: In 2007 (when they first raised to $160,000): 160/97.5 =1.641 In 2026: 235/184.5 =1.274 So first years are paid roughly 30% less than they were in 2007. HTH. |
