After Royal Caribbean announced the cruise, they were unable to sell out. Consequently, they began offering "segmented" itineraries, which the "world travelers" (i.e., the ones paying $60k+ for the voyage) did not appreciate. The "world travelers" began forming exclusive facebook groups and didn't allow the "segmenters" anywhere near them. It's pretty hilarious. On top of that, the "pinnacle" members have their own separate area of the ship. Some of the "segmenters" were hosting a separate reading club in one of the pinnacle lounges illegally, so a pinnacle member literally reported them from the youtube stream and they were promptly kicked out.
