That may be why all these schools dinged him. They saw someone already halfway out the door who'd probably drop out after a year after realizing classes aren't as much fun as growing the business. |

but it's crazy that cornell or even nyu wouldn't give him an offer. someone like this is going to pay full freight and is a potential future donor, and schools not named stanford and mit want to expand their silicon valley pipelines. |

Funnily enough, I had flashbacks to school days where some teachers were not as bright as the top kids in the class and it did manifest itself a few times. My opinions on a few teachers changed from 9th grade to 12th when it became clear I was smarter than them. But I also knew not to rub it in their face the way certain students would try to do. |
