Then I saw the 50 YouTube videos on the State of Metroid and it turned into a good old fashioned dogpile on a western developer which I am always, always up for. Game maker stop making good games that were moddable, that could build huge communities, etc. And started releasing the same old shit year after year with almost no originality. Counterstrike clones basically killed PC gaming.
