They have 36% of the online retail sales market, projected to be 40% by the end of 2025, no one can compete with them on shipping costs or delivery times since they have warehouses in every metro area, and AWS is 60% of their earnings and can’t be tariffed. You might say their online retail sales are vulnerable to tariffs, but those affect everyone else too and consumers still need to buy their goods from somewhere and they will always go for the best price and most convenient experience which is almost always Amazon. They also let you return almost anything with no hassle which further makes them to go to market for consumer goods. What could possibly hurt them?
