The IFNB features six contestants—Axel, Blaze, Cruz, Diesel, Enzo, and Flex—each of whom competes in exactly two of three mandatory events: Symmetry Posing (S), Muscular Definition (D), and Artistic Freestyle (F).
The following rules apply:
No contestant may compete in two events back-to-back if those events require oiling. (Only D and F require oiling).
Axel and Blaze refuse to compete in the same event.
Diesel must compete in F if and only if Flex competes in S.
Exactly three contestants must compete in D.
Enzo competes in exactly one event that neither Diesel nor Flex competes in.
Cruz competes in D unless Enzo competes in F.
If Enzo competes in F, which one of the following must be true?
A. Axel competes in S and D
B. Blaze competes in F and does not compete in S
C. Cruz does not compete in D
D. Diesel competes in F and not in S
E. Flex competes in S and D

Answer: B
1. Oiling Events: Events D (Muscular Definition) and F (Artistic Freestyle) require oiling.
2. Enzo's Events: Enzo participates in one event that neither Diesel nor Flex is in. If Enzo is in F, this means F is not one of Diesel's or Flex's events. So, Enzo must be in F and either S or D.
3. Cruz's Events: Cruz competes in D unless Enzo is in F. Because Enzo is in F, Cruz does not compete in D.
4. Total in D: Three contestants must be in D. With Cruz out of D, and knowing D requires oiling, two more competitors must be in D.
5. Axel and Blaze: Axel and Blaze refuse to compete in the same event.
6. Diesel and Flex: Diesel is in F if and only if Flex is in S. Since Enzo is in F, and F can't be one of Diesel's events, Flex must not be in S (because if Flex was in S, Diesel would be in F, which is not possible).
7. Remaining in D: Since only two contestants need to be in D and Cruz, Diesel, and Flex are out, those spots must go to Axel and Blaze. This is possible because they cannot compete in the same event.
8. Final Deduction: With Axel and Blaze in D, and considering they cannot compete back-to-back in oiling events (which includes D and F), and knowing D and F require oiling, it forces Blaze to be in F (and not S), and Axel in S.
Therefore, if Enzo competes in F, then B. Blaze competes in F and does not compete in S must be true.
