In the 90s you could live in Aspen or Park City and ski all winter with a part time bartending gig and many of these people somehow never left. You won't see hardly any chungus millennials living in ski towns and definitely no zoomers. Most aoomers are POC latinx browngroids anyway and fear snow and places that center white bodies. All the radio stations play pearl jam and hootie and the blowfish.

sort of. the owners of condos and homes are overwhelmingly boomer and gen x and almost all white.

all of the staff for airbnb's, resorts, hotels, and restaurants are hispanic living 6 to a 2BD apartment 60 minutes outside the expensive areas.

also, the culture for those living long term in these areas SUCKS. no real industry outside of tourism, extreme wealth divide, no culture outside of skiing/boarding/climbing culture which is fine for a few weeks or maybe a year or two but is not something you want to raise kids around. everyone is drunk or high all the time
