But his dad's dad was an immigrant from Germany. When Trump's dad was born were either of his parents US citizens or perm residents? We don't know so Trump wld need to prove it to keep his US citizenship otherwise it's back to Naziland

it's not retroactive to the beginning of time. plenty of countries don't have birthright citizenship. regulating immigration has only been around for like a hundred years. before that as long as you weren't a slave you were a citizen (with some other exceptions). |
