Most important thing is called the friction point. Have car running in flat parking lot. When the car is in 1st gear and the clutch is disengaged (pedal all the way down) you can slowly take your foot off the pedal and let it come up. Dont worry about gas pedal at all. Just lift your foot off the clutch and when it begins to engage you’ll see and feel the rpm start to dip. That’s the friction point. If you let off the clutch slowly enough you will start to move forward. Try to do this only with the clutch pedal and that’s pretty much it. Once you get that then involve the gas pedal to do it faster/ keep rpm from dipping |

PDK surpassed manual as of the 991 IMO. However, heavy traffic is not a lot of fun. I sold my beloved 1984 Honda Accord after spending 4 hours driving 60 miles on freeway to a meeting in LA. Leg actually cramped, and that car had a very light and nice clutch. Note: not all manual transmission/clutch systems are created some. Some suck, while some are great. New ones are hard to find.
