Some excellent bits of cinematography in that

The dinosaurs also have a lot of that quality of "menace" that they'd lose in later installations of the franchise. The tall grass raptor chase is practically Aliens tier in its depiction of "non-human, alien predators hunting men"

JP1 is smooth quality-wise throughout. As a visual script it was probably planned much better than 2 with fewer cooks in the broth

JP2 has some rough moments wedded to very good ones

If you're talking about the T-Rex in San Diego ending then yeah it was pretty corny but also exuberant with an old school hollywood feel in parts
