My New employer offers after tax roth. That means I can fill up pretax401k+5% match. And 70k-(23k+17k) I can put in as after tax with immediate roth conversion. Does it mean I can covert that into regular roth without any additional tax after I leave my job?

So right now I can do about 30k/yr megaroth which basically saves me 20% capital gains tax longterm compared to putting that money in regular brokerage

MBR is an absolute no brainer. Literally zero reason not to do it.

Yeah but it's not any better than regular 401k. I.e. that pretax 40k also saves on capital gains plus will be tax at lower tax rate in the future. Roth only saves me on capital gains.

No tax at all versus taxes at ordinary income rate is obviously way better.

What do you think of this. My new 401k plan allows schwab pcra accounts so I can basically do my own investments. I'll just do qqqi, spmo, and bitcoin(if it drops below 85k again)

Eh. The key is to buy early and not sell. That seems fine. I’m much heavier on international and think you’d be way under diversified and have a ton of overlap with those two funds but ultimately if you buy and never sell you’re fine.
