& earliest recollection of jeebus is from paul, who never met jeebus & hallucinated him 3 years after jeebus's death on the road to damascus, which he then didn't write about for another 20+ years lol
still, potentially fake jeebus was right about (((you people)))

i agree with you, but ...
https://ehrmanblog.org/why-date-the-gospels-after-70-ce/
get a load of this bias:
"New Testament scholars are virtually unified in thinking that the Gospels of the New Testament began to appear after 70 CE. The major exceptions are conservative evangelicals who often date them earlier. One can understand why: they typically maintain that the Gospels of Matthew and John were written by disciples of Jesus and it seems implausible that they would still be alive toward the end of the first century (especially given live expectancies in antiquity)."

The original crew was probably semi-literate. Mostly blue collar bros and women. The bros could probably read a little scripture that they had to memorize as kids. But they were def not authorial.
Whats more they were entirely convinced the world would end and Jesus would return within their lives. No reason to write shit down.
Paul, within a few decades, starting writing scholarship. Around that time, a bit later, compilers started to compile stories into Gospels. Within 100 years it was all pretty much done. It was like WW2 writing today. Hardly ancient history and you can find some olds who saw it as adults, and many crowds of their children who were there and heard about it their whole lives.
Idgaf if you reject the Gospel of Christ, but those are the facts

even earlier, I think. 70ish. Temple was still standing.
and he was using sources written earlier than him, obv.
Id say there were probably pen-to-paper gospel accounts by the 50s or 60s. Mark's was definitive and survived
