And let's go back to GW bush this guy was basically run out of town on a rail.. when he left Washington DC his reputation and polls were in shambles..
just think about why we have presidents like this.. and now Congress is in such a absolute mess and has done so poorly and has such a poor reputation among the voters that there's basically zero chance that any senator is ever going to be president again probably.
Think about that senators used to be presidents in waiting more or less.. they all wanted to be president.. well they don't have any chance now..
