2. It is getting very difficult to pretend around her at work. Have to basically actively ignore her in work settings for fear it will be obvious.

3. I am torn in two at home. I can’t pretend with the wife anymore. Even a simple lunch feels like too much. I’ve avoided kisses several times. I have to tell her it’s over soon. It’s going to be pretty brutal but better than living in this weird in between zone.

4. I don’t think whether it works out with subordinate really makes a difference about the wife. The marriage feels over regardless. Even if no subordinate I’ve moved on mentally and would want to date new people vs trying to make it work.

5. It’s funny at work having multiple people act like they’re going to give me the scoop of what’s going on with the subordinate and having to pretend like they know better.

6. People will find out soon that she is getting a divorce. I’m a bit worried that that combined with the fact that she’s moving closer to me combined with the fact that I’m going to be separated soon combined with the fact that we always show up and leave events at same time will have everyone putting 2 and 2 together.
