i'd enjoyed doing coke since i was in law school and would do it when i could get it, but i never had a reliable dealer. i got one of those in 2018 and that coincided with me becoming a biglol partner and developing a god complex. i traveled all the time for work and drank constantly. was fucking whores and strange women, etc.
everything just kinda hit the wall. i was fine for a while, until i wasn't. |

Date: June 16th, 2026 2:43 PM Author: watermelon felon ((zurich is stained)) whores: when my wife was pregnant with our first kid, she had awful postpartum depression and we didn't have sex for like 9 months. i got so resentful that i said well fuck off i'm gonna bang whores. then i lateraled to biglaw and started traveling a lot, and i just started doing it as a matter of course. as my substance abuse got worse, our relationship worsened. i then was not only banging whores, but "dated" a stripper in LA and then took on a mistress. i ultimately left my wife for her and moved in with her and long story short, i beat her up and went to jail, then later destroyed our apt and got taken to the loony bin. i got sober at that point and within several months dumped the mistress and reconciled with my wife. in retrospect, being resentful and banging whores was the wrong way to deal with the issue but hindsight is 20/20, i guess.
god complex: i started out in shitlaw and somehow worked my way up to biglaw (albeit a v65 or so firm, so not really white shoe by any means), then got promoted to partner there. i was getting fucked up before work events and never got called out or caught (i showed up to union negotiations one morning in the middle of a coke bender and the union rep asked me, at the table in front of everyone, whether i needed medical attention). so i just started thinking i could do whatever i wanted with zero consequences. it was not good. |

i instantly got indignant and said "how DARE you. i was the subject of bullying in school because of my complexion!" (not true, but i played it up big time). and the client rep i was with was coked up with me, and he started going off at the union rep. we basically turned it back on them.
i was definitely put back on my heels some, because the HR people we were at the bargaining table with were definitely NOT on drugs, but i played it off pretty well. |
