What?! This is crazy... B-b-but I thought The Experts(TM) all agree that everyone in power in LA did everything perfectly in this situation, and Los Angelenos themselves (although admittedly sad about the tragedy) understand that they are incredibly lucky to have such amazing leadership!
Against that backdrop, why would high profile public officials now be getting shitcanned amid "a growing wave of scathing criticism" and "recriminations" even while the fires are still burning? I'm very confused!
