have you ever tried listening to 'No Way Out,' his hit 1997 album? that shit is AWFUL. it's total ass. even by the standards of late-90's pop-rap, it's rancid garbage. and so were several of his proteges, Mase's 'Harlem World,' for example:

that storyline is so obviously fake that it seems unbelievable that anyone ever humored the possibility. PD and bad boy records in retrospect look like history's most obvious intel agency entertainment industry 'cutouts.'
