edit: i'll also add that the millenials assuming power in these institutions will just generally be less competent and less serious people than their boomer predecessors. the problems millenials have to deal with are also more complex and unsolvable than boomers had to deal with, in a more globally-scaled and technologized society. so i still expect the time of millenial rule to be pretty buckwild too.
