Why do they think that? Something about building "libraries" on one Marque of Consoles? So you can play the same games over and over again on the new-gen-console? This seems dumb. Switching sides is shrewd af because you can play all of the prior-gen games you missed. I mean you could be playing Lost Odyssey right now. Or even FF13, which was never ported to PS4 or PS5 but can be played on 360/XB1/Series X. You could be playing Soul Calibur 2 with Spawn - the most badass variant of that game (Gamecube version had Link, PS2 version had Heihachi). I pretty much don't play western-developed games unless they're the pinnacle and cutting edge af. If you play too many western games, you're going to get burned out and Stop Gaming imo.
