I think it was Devlin who said that human women have a biologically programmed 4 year mating cycle. They find a guy to fuck and impregnate them and help them raise babby past infancy and then their brain automatically starts looking for a new male to mate with. Normally men stop being attracted to their monogamous mate way before the 4 year mark so maybe there’s some kind of middle ground compromise here. There was a Chinese intellectual who wanted to do 1 year marriage contracts and there were some eugenics-era European Progressive bros who wanted to do this too
Lifelong human monogamy is a Joke and not viable when women are a privileged class and can break the contract at any time and take all of a man’s assets. Imo fellow Progressives should consider other options like the above if they want to continue Human Social Progress
