 Movies don't look like "movies" at 30fps, they look like TV shows. But that's only because we are used to seeing the film image hang in front of are eyes a bit longer.
 
  Hollywood justified this for years by claiming that each cell in film reel should be treated like an individual photograph. A work of art. The film looks more "artistic" at this slowass framerate they said, to keep costs low. You know they would have shot Lawrence of Arabia at 120fps if Hollywood let off the brakes
