So probably millions of Americans sold their stocks at the worst possible time- the S&P was down 3.5 to 4.5 percent Monday morning until the fake news broke.

Retirement savers traded more in their 401(k) accounts on Monday than any day since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
People typically don't trade in their 401(k)s often, and the movement of money was a tiny share of assets. But it was almost 10 times the usual trading, and the fifth heaviest trading day since at least 1997, according to record-keeper Alight Solutions, which tracks a subset of the plans it administers.
Savers pulled money from U.S. stocks and target-date funds, and shifted into safer bond and money market funds.
Monday's trades include portfolio adjustments that savers made over the weekend, when many were digesting the market turmoil stemming from President Trump's tariff announcements. Those trades would have been executed Monday.

To be fair,
It is absolutely mind-blowing to read brilliant "you've been warned bud, now watch this drive!" financial calls like this from the very same smug know-it-all Quotemos who spent the last decade openly sneering at me for being a "retard" as I aggressively pushed BTC/ETH/SOL/TSLA.
Truly amazing stuff, very entertaining.
Really makes you think!
