The wood isn't resonating in a way that matters unless it's a hollow body, and even then almost zero attention was paid to acoustics when the thing was designed. People buy what looks cool or fits their body PRS guitars look cool but that's it. Ibanez used to have really thin necks I think, so I guess that made them easier to play fast? Hard for me to respect any electric instrument at all, especially stringed ones. They all look like cheap toys to me. That room looks like shit but it's an underground fortress with perfect climate control and zero flooding or sewer problems btw |
