King was hugely important to me from Jr high thru high school but I mostly haven’t liked his novels since dream catcher (I couldn’t finish under the dome or from a Buick 8, and Cell sucked)
His stories are still really good; I think he made the pivot in his shorter fiction away from straight up horror much nbetter than he did in the novels.
