I noticed, kids in the 10-15 year old range only play Xbox. I had a car full of 12 year old boys on Friday (read that and weep sp) and I asked them about the PlayStation or switch. One kid said yes they know kids with a PlayStation and they're called nerds.
They do these big gaming sleepovers kind of like a lan party. I have a setup for multiple work stations at home. I have yet to see whats needed for a PlayStation because nobody has one
