"Prison authorities have provided Anders Behring Breivik with three private rooms, including a living room, a study and a small personal gym.
He has three budgies to keep him company, and access to a kitchen, a lounge with a large flat screen TV and an Xbox which he can play with the guards, along with a dining room and a room for visits.
He plays basketball, takes walks and visits the prison library.
...
In a tearful address to the court yesterday, the convict claimed that prison authorities are trying to "push me to suicide".
This, from the man who once threatened to go on hunger strike if he did not get, among other things, a Playstation 3 instead of the older Playstation 2."

I blew out my wifey, squeezed out her lifey
Cut her up, in our own little home
But there's cooze in the blender and soon it will render
That bloody concoction that helps me hang on

I've thought about this a lot as an exercise, not because I want to actually harm anyone but I'm curious as to how people actually get away with it. I've noticed a few things, many of which are obvious.
- You can't kill anyone you know. The closer you are to a person, the more you will be scrutinized. If you have ANYTHING to gain from a person's death, you're automatically a suspect.
- The more elaborate the plan is, the worse it is. In the US, the type of murder with the highest unsolved rate are drive-bys. There's no physical evidence outside of casings and it's done in an instant.
