Last weekend, my fiancee told me about a situation from her youth. She was working as a server at some restaurant and one of her coworkers (a "friend") begged her to deposit his worker's comp check into her account because he couldn't due to his account being negative. She was about 19 at the time. She deposited it, gave him the cash, and the check bounced because it was fraudulent. She didn't even have money for school or rent because of this. The cops were called and he called her crying saying they were going to take him to jail. He promised he'd pay her back if she dropped the charges, so she did. He never paid her back.
You have no idea how much this enraged and still enrages me. I genuinely want to beat this guy to fucking death. I asked her for his name amd she gave it to me, so I guess I need to find this scumbag and Get Justice. |

I watched so many of the pre-fight documentaries on Showtime and HBO in the lead-ups to his big fights and the shit he bought seemed like an afterthought. Like he'd rather just go for 15 mile runs at 3am in the lead-up to a fight and then buy McDonald's after beating Canelo. I don't even think he'd be that unhappy if he went back to having no money.
