I have a question about writing checks

Date: June 24th, 2026 3:22 PM Author: gay of hormuz so if you're writing a check for $30.10 you have to write out "thirty dollars and 10/100." ok fine. But what if it's for thirty dollars flat? Do you write "thirty dollars and 00/100" or can you just write "thirty dollars."
I've always written out the 00/100 but now I'm wondering if I've been wasting my efforts |

"thirty dollars" "x 100" = $3,000
and just add a couple zeros to "$30" |
